I can honestly say it didn't feel like I was there for six hours because from the start, our teacher Simon made us feel comfortable and relaxed, explained everything to us, and had a great sense of humor, making it fun. Everything was explained thoroughly, and nothing was a problem with some of us asking questions. Simon is a very knowledgeable man who made the day fun from the start, so it didn't feel like we were back at school. I can't recommend First Aid Southampton or Simon enough. Very professional company but fun and engaging from the start, which kept everyone's attention in what could have been a long, drawn-out day. Our instructor was able to give us first hand accounts of using these first aid methods and we were then able to give our own examples of things that were appropriate for us. First aid Southampton provided an excellent 1 day emergency first aid at work course for 8 or our staff. The trainers were engaging, very knowledgeable with lots of live experienced which validated their teaching. We had Chris from First aid Southampton into school today to deliver paediatric first aid training and it was really informative. The way Chris delivered the training was engaging and he was really supportive of any questions we asked. Having the ability to be practical within training sessions like this is really helpful as it gave us the chance to practice the skills being taught.
