Defibrillator Training

Who is it for?

An ideal course to have as an additional qualification for any first aider. Defibrillators are found in most work places and public areas. This course will enable you to use a defibrillator with confidence. This can be purchased as a bolt on for the 1 Day and 3 Day First Aid Courses at a discounted price.

If so this course would be suitable to train or refresh your staff to a high standard.

Duration: 3 Hours

Consisting of both theory and practical sessions. Students work within a relaxed learning environment in order to create confidence and knowledge. This course is enhanced if you advise us of your make and model defibrillator prior to the course. If you have not purchased one as yet please feel free to contact us for impartial advice.

• Basic life support & CPR.
• Chain of survival & the benefits of early defibrillation.
• UK resuscitation council guidelines.
• What is defibrillation?
• Automated External Defibrillator (AED) Functions.
• Operating an AED and safety guidelines.
• AED Practical Scenarios.
• Handover to Emergency Services.

The Resus Council UK recommend that this course should be refreshed annually.
